I never hasve enough time to listen to music. I buy more than I can consume. However, I still managed to hear some great stuff this year.

Why Law of the Junglerock?
I needed a user name. I needed one that wasn't jetboy1999 or rocky123. So I picked Junglerock as my gmail address because I wanted something simple and vaguely cool that nobody else was using. Junglerock worked. It has pretty much become my user name for just about everything. Junglerock is an old song originally released in 1958 by Hank Mizell.

I first heard it as a Replacements b-side that is almost remarkable in how unremarkable it is. It was buried on a 1987 German double 12' single. The song was also covered by Tav Falco's Panther Burns and The Fall among others.
Law of the Junglerock is just a lame pun. Hmmmm....
What will I write about? Music, rants, comics, books, the usual narcissistic playground of the prepetually disgruntled.
Here goes nothing. Seriously, nothing.
